MY jimmy got broken into last night. They went through my glove box and center console. They took the registration, and my speakers. I didnt think anybody would even mess with it since it has no doors no top and is guted. And it has a car cover on it. They took the only things left in it, except the stereo because the face plate was off and the cb.

I am really upset because I was going on a run this morning, but they screwed that up. They ripped a bunch of wires out from under the dash and it wont start.

Yeah that does bite. My truck got broken into the other day. It was so wierd they stole my 20 dollar stereo but not my cell phone my amps or my speakers. I was so pissed cause not only did they short out all my lights by tugging on a bunch of wires but they broke off part of my dash so now i can even fit a regular stereo in. If anyone know where to get a decent stereo cheap let me know. I feel your pain.

People like that piss me off.. they can't get their own damned things so the have to break into other poepls things...both my friends' steros have been stolen recently.. only had his speakers, amp, subs, and radio stolen... and the insurance only paid him like 800-1k when he had spent way more to get that stuff. And another friend got his jeep broken into and had his stereo stolen. That's why im so aprehensive (big word =o ) about taking off the top to my truck cuz jeleous asshooles will pullshit like that.

Exact reason I have a factory radio, no aftermarket speakers, tuffy console, and no tint. (at least if I want to leave a phone or wallet in the truck, they won't get it) They can look in and see that I have NOTHING in there. (my theory) Manual trans and diesel emblem on the back are also probably good deterrents : ) So far I've been lucky, but I'm sure my luck can't hold forever.

I cant exactlly put a top back on since this is the truck I rolled. I figures a set of 6x9s cut and mounted into the side panels right in front of the back seat would be the best place to put them so they wouldnt see them. I am lucky though they didnt take the high lift jack or my tow straps.

Fixed the wiring problem. THe pulled the nuetral saftey switch wire off so it wouldnt start. Plugged it back in and it starts.
