Jimmy speakers

Hi everyone-

I'm new here and fairly clueless about what goes on inside my 2001 2wd Jimmy.

I put in a new CD/radio (JVC) but the sound is still not what I want. My question:

should I change front speakers, and if so, what sounds best?

Go to a stereo shop and listen to the exact same track of music, through several different speakers. Pick the one that sounds best to YOU. Everyones ears are different. So pick a song that you listen to alot and play it through different speakers. Go to more than one store. Don't let someone tell you what sounds good to you. Only you know that. Determine your budget and stay as close as possible to it.

Put in new speakers, add an amp, and put a mild sub in back.
