I finally got all my engine wiring and most of the chassis done and am super excited to start on the fuel system and fire it up. All circuits seem to be working properly and it cranked over with the key like it should. I’m trying to make it look as factory as I can under the hood. Junkyard has been invaluable for the factory style parts. I probably used 3-4 air intakes to get the 1 to fit how I wanted it lol.
Only weird thing was the alarm that beeps when headlights are left on would only turn off when I put the lights on or turned the ignition on, it kept beeping even with the key out? Granted I don’t have any of the front lights hooked up or their respective grounds. Guess I’ll see what it does once everything is hooked back up, for now I just unplugged the alarm.

What's that airbox out of?

Air box and electrical center box (where I put my ecm, fuse, and relays) is out of an 02 tahoe.

Can anyone tell me how the front light harness is routed across the core support? I can’t remember. I’m thinking it goes out the lower hole in the drivers side then across /under to passenger side and back in the lower hole? Any pics would be helpful. Thanks

Dude, I give you serious credit for having the patience to do that clean of an transplant.

The front light harness goes out the hole that I believe that you are talking about. Then across the front lower section of the core support. It is supposed to be basically flush with the bottom, but I haven't found one that had enough clamps to keep it tidy. The factory used plastic ones with a stud to push into holes.
Then it goes back in another hole on the passenger side and up.

Wow that is a nice swap.

For your buzzer - I have the same problem but intermittent. When it happens, I just leave it buzzing and it wanes off by itself after a few minutes. Let us know if you get it figured out!

Got her fired up and gauges wired in. Not sure how to upload a video? Gotta love open headers.

About 6 weeks ago, I was driving the Jimmy thru town and there was this guy with his kid in a Jeep with a bikini top. I noticed the kid looking over a couple times as we were driving thru town so once we got to the stoplight, I flicked the throttle just a little too much and this kids' head spun around like the Exorcist. I thought to myself, "There ya go kid, that's Detroit muscle and those are what you call 'Glasspacks'. You're welcome."
It was priceless.

Just an update on the buzzer. Mine was a ground issue on the front light harness. Replaced a couple bad/corroded ground wires on the passenger side of my front light harness. Buzzer works as it should again. Might want to take a look at your grounds.
