jkw twin stick help needed

so im putting the twin stick kit in my 205 and the shifters wont line up due to a bolt hole cast into my adaptor, has anyone else ran into this problem? And would it be safe to trim the adaptor, and would it still seal?

no problem. like i said here is pics and my text message replyes.

i would keep the mounting ear 100% dont modify it as its a heavy 205 tcase.

and i would just add a washer or 2 to make it clear. looks like thay made the shift bushing tube a hair to short and its now moved over to hit the adaptor ear. washer or 2 be fine.
