Well I'm thinking of selling my 1988 K-5 blazer.

more pics here: click

It's got 350 TBI/700R4/NP208/10bolts front&rear, and 33" tires. I put an XJ steering shaft on it, new fuel filter, pcv valve, pass side brake caliper, fixed the messed up steering column (tilt). It has 110k miles on it.

Now the bad It needs a fuel line repaired (return line is cracked) and the rear brake line that runs inside the frame is cracked so that needs to be repaired.
Also the pass side front fender has a big dent in it, a new aftermarket one is included. I also have a new headlight bucket and grill, both aftermarket. And I just picked up a new billet grill that would be included as well.

The previous owner started to restore it. The frame is rusty but the body is very clean. The rockers are new, there is some rust by the rear wheelwells. I would probably want $2000 but that is negotiable of course.

I have lots of extra things that could be included for extra $. I have 90% of a 4" lift (Tuff Country) I have two more tops and I have a 3/4 ton front 10-bolt if you were thinking of doing a 3/4 ton axle swap.

Thanks,

-Ryan

Is the interior in decent shape?

Is the tailgate/glass in good shape and goes up & down.

Looks pretty nice.

Has the engine ever gone thru, valve seals ect.

yea, the interior is decent. Actually when I got it I found out that the PO had replaced the front seats with ones out of a suburban, so they had the knob to adjust the seat back.

I replaced the pass side seat with one from my 89 blazer so now it slides forward so rear passengers can get in easily. It is still grey cloth, but just a different style. I still have the old seat that was in there.

The rear gate is in excellent condition. The window is power, but doesn't work. I never really looked into it, so I don't know why it doesn't work. The glass is good and I have another piece of glass from my 89 k5 that you could have with the truck.

As for the motor, I don't know much about it. I've only had this truck for about a year. The PO told me it was replaced with a crate 350 but I don't know how many miles are on the current engine. It has a chrome oil pan, so I know that something was rebuilt for sure.

can you get any close up pictures of the underside, back sides of the rockers, rockers along the front, basically anywhere there would be rust.
im not far (i live in Oak Lawn), but traffic going your way near O'Hare can be a bitch, and especially now with the construction.

my stepson is in the market for a 4wd for winter.
