JUMPER CABLES

Mine caught fire yesterday. Apparently they had a short in them. So I'm on the hunt for a new good set. I want at least 25ft and 0-1 ga wire.

Any suggestions?

Pretty sure Napa carries a good set. I picked up a super beefy set a few years ago. 0 gauge and heavy duty clamps. Pretty sure I got them at Napa.
And I want to say I was 70-80 bucks poorer when I left

Don’t remember where I got mine but I was gonna say get the longest and bigger gage set you can find. Pretty sure my last good ones were creeping on a hundo.

Might have gotten a set at costco don’t remember.

Every time I go to the junkyard I scope out the batteries, jacks, and jumper cables. Sometimes you can get a legit set.

last set i had i made them . 2/0 cable and super HD clamps . otherwise they almost all suck anymore .

now it just use a jnc 660 jumper pack and never look back at cables again . this is the #1 jump box in the towing industry .

I've got the JNC660 too. I bought it in 2007 and just replaced the battery in it. I just don't like those little cell phone sized jumpers.

I agree with @sweetk30, it's worth just finding some old welding leads and putting clamps on them then you can make a custom length. 1/0 or 2/0 can be found pretty reasonably on the interwebs as well

Just go to your local welding store and buy a chunk. They sell it by the foot.

Had a friend that works for TVA gave me a retired ground lead. It’s 1/0.
