I need a driver side seat belt retractor assembly. Is there a certain year range that is (isn't) applicable for my 81 K5? What about different types of vehicles (c1500, passenger vehicles, etc)... what types of vehicles can I choose from.

I'm also going to look for a XJ steering shaft. My question never did get answered in the tech article thread, but will the shaft work with my 4WD steering box?

'73-'75 trucks and Blazers only had lap belts with no shoulder harness. I'm pretty sure that '76 on up belts will work.

got a shaft for $14. There were at least 2-3 other shafts that could be pulled.

No luck on the seat belt. All the ones I saw were different styles. I did see a 77? Blazer Cheyenne. 12 bolt with the gov-lock. It was a manual tranny but could not tell what kind.

Did score a complete headlamp assembly for the wife's Exploder (housing, bracket, bezels and park lamps). $36

We'll see if the XJ shaft fits or not.
