I just moved to another state and went to the local yard for the first time. They had maybe six or so square bodies and three or four '67-'72 pickups.

Most of them were 2WD IFS trucks, but there were a few solid axles. Most of what I saw was 10 bolts and Dana 44's, then I ran into a 14 Bolt DRW and there was a truck that had a Dana 60 Rear (I took some photos of this one).

Is either one of these axles worth going back and pulling? How much and how complicated is it to convert the 14 Bolt DRW to SRW?

Pics of the D60 rear:

That 14 bolt looks like the axles were just serviced. By the orange silicone at the shaft end.

no pic posted of 14ff rear . there all dana rear . and looks like dana 70 rear via the cover being smaller than the case .

Also,

I can't really tell, but does that Dana axle look like it was used as DRW or SRW?

Are Dana 60 and Dana 70 parts interchangable?

the pics posted show srw hubs on the axle .

you could use it if it has what you want in a axle . might have to do perches and shock mounts to make it fit for your ride.

and some parts swap but most don't from 60-70 .
