just at the local junkyard today looking for parts for my 205, i found a 205 slipyoke and took the yoke for mine and the front shaft and flange, i have the crossmember and mounts......i have a large question if on my rear shaft with the 208 yoke, if i swap it with the 205 yoke i just got how far off will the length be..? too short..?

taking my 465, 208 out and putting in 465, 205. using my hydro bell, i got the front shaft, flange...the rear i got the slip yoke...i was wondering if i changed the 208 yoke to the 205 how far my shaft lemgth will be...?

i cant i dont have both shafts just the shaft for my 208...i wana change the yokes, swap 208 with 205 , but i wanted to know if anyone knew if it will fit, too long, too short??? so really does anyone have a shortbed with a 205 slipyoke to measure the drive shaft length ...or anyone ever do this and remember if they were too long or short

Do you have both the 208 & the 205? If so, measure them both & that should give you a pretty good idea.

Later,
Buddy
