3/4 ton status
I thought I would toss this link up to the pics of the K5 rebuild over the past few months. I am almost done. Just have to cover the hole where the t case is up through the floor, make a cover for the acess hole for the fuel pump, and build a new front bumper and a little cage modding. I also have to install the 35 spline outers and maybe regear. Most of the money I had for the gear swap got spent on other parts for the truck.
Anyhow it worked great today and the only thing I found outside of the leaking diffs
is a little oil leak. Not sure where the oil leak is from but it's not enough to even drip yet. Even with the all but 100 degree temps and headers and duals tucked it pretty tight I had no starting issues. The GM show is in 2 weeks and we will be wheeling it again then.
