OK i need a little more lift in the rear of my 77 k5! Like 4 more inches to be exact, i know there is a rite way and a wrong way to do this but for the moment im looking to get this thing leveled so it can be driven to and from work till the purs strings loosen up. I have 2 pair of 2 inch cast iron lift blocks enough to give me what i need but im a lil leary of stacking blocks even though they have the little nipple in the middle for centering. (deep inbeded fear of stacking blocks after my leggo accident in 1984! :haha: ok seriouslu would it be better to go with 1 pair 2 inch lift blocks then add the 2 inch lift shackles to give me the 4 inches i need? I asked my wife what she thought but when she saw the 2 inch blocks she said" wow your raising it 10 inches?" Yes ive got her fooled good so i need a little expert guidance. this is just temporary till i can get a shackle flip and new rear leaf springs. i just have this stuff on hand. thanks for any help.:D

DO NOT STACK BLOCKS........... I also assume you are doing this in the rear? cause DO NOT USE BLOCKS IN THE FRONT.

oh yes it is in the rear. i have skyjack lift springs in front with a 2 inch shackle for 8 inches lift up front, i just want to level it out the back has ad a leaf but they are a little warn i think. so i should go with 1 block and the shackles ?

Yeah out of the 2 most defiantly.

You cant use lift shackles on the rear unless you have a shackle flip. 2" blocks and a 2" add-a-leaf will get you there. Unless you have them already, you will need longer rear u-bolts for the blocks.

Or you can pay me 35 bucks and I will ship you a pair of used 4" lift blocks:-)

let me know if you want them, I am headed out for the weekend but I will be back Sunday evening.
