Wanted to say thanks you guys,for all the great advice and ideas. Who'd a thought 20 plus years ago ( last time I owned a 4x, that will actually go off road ) there would be so many options,aftermarket parts,and friends "on-line" to help with problems and roadblocks.
You never thought to swap out axels,re-design suspension,narrow ect....If it broke you replaced,and lived with it. I've used the Search feature to learn so much it's almost overwhelming.The wealth of knowledge here is greatly appreciated.Thought I'd let you all know, how much help you have been.
My own project should be on (off ) the road by summer ,thanks to all of you...
