i could care less if i could beat someone, but after my engine how fast do u think my k5 is, its got a 415hp 350 with 700r4, 38" TSL radials 4.56 gears. im guessing around a....18 sec 1/4 mile? sorry guys, im just at home bored.

That's a good guess. There are really too many variables to guess accurately though. Like, where is the power band in your motor? If it's high, then you're not going to have much get up and go. If it's low then you'll peter out between gears. How much drag do your tires create? What effect does your lift have on power transfer. Soft suspension will absorb some of your take off power/shifting power. You're gearing doesn't make up for high rpm power band. Too many things to guess time. Go to the track and test it. Or find a deserted back country road and time yourself.

If it makes you feel better, you can beat my stock K5. Especially since I haven't started it in over a month. Will take more than 18 sec. to find the starter fluid.

When I was still in high school a girl took her 1989 Subaru Wagon to the drag strip and ran like 22 secs at about 75 haha. That was some funny stuff.

This is why I find bracket racing so boring. The most consistant car wins, not the fastest. I used to go to LACR in Palmdale, California and there was a guy with an old stock suburban and always took the prize money with his 22 second run.

its faster than mine... dohh... and u wish u actually had the 4:56's... muahaha

just to give you an idea, my 383 had probably the same numbers as ur 350, i had 4.56 and 38.5's and my 86 pickup ran a 15....i had a th400 tho and i was maxed out on speed like halfway down the track...if you have overdrive it may be faster....
