Hey a 6 lug gm 10 bolt front doesn't have the same backing plate as a 8 lug gm 10 bolt does it?

6lug and 8lug swap but as you think there different size for the bigger/smaller brake rotor dia .
Nope. When I swapped mine to 8 lug the backing plates were different. I guess it may also depend on which brake package you have...
If you try to use the backing plate from the 6 lug on the 8 lug or Dana 44 front the caliper will not align with the rotor.
