The frame was cracked pretty bad around the steering box it already had some plate welded like the weld on kit ORD sells. I welded all the cracks and installed a ORD brace. I just use the truck on the streets and a few dirt roads? Will this hold up the frame for a good time or should I get ready to junk this truck?

Did you drill the ends of the cracks before you welded them?

If the frame was repaired correctly, the brace should prevent any more cracks :thumb:

With a broken frame that is patched you still have one more option to make it good and safe, the ORD bolt on brace, or something similar.
You want to transfer the stress from the frame to a crossmember with some leverage.
I think the ORD kit is cheap enough and the R&D has been done, but if you feel like doing it yourself you can look at one and do something similar.
