Kinda cold (maybe in the 40's), light drizzling rain and in a swamp. Miserable conditions but that always seems to be the best times. :doah:

I cant get enough of drivin in the snow!! I used a whole tank in my K5 one day a few winters ago... You know its a good day when there is so much snow the cops can't get around :)

I like my mud. I don't like washing it off in the cold though. Gimme some good trails and some good friends and I'm set! :D

got to love the mud, and i love playing on snow and icy covered roads

Whats your favorite off-road condition??? You can pick multiple conditions...

I really learned to drive when a dude my Dad's age in the neighborhood taught me and my best friend to do controlled slides and other cool stuff. He showed a bunch of stuff on dry pavement and made us do it. It helped me recover when the back end of my heavy RWD vehicles would spin out in the rain. By the time I was 17, I loved snow and ice while behind the wheel of my Dodge Van. When everyone else was snowed in, I was out and about. I still love to go driving when it snows (rare around here), although I found out the hard way that going sideways at 50mph on ice with a G80 in the rear axle leads to problems :(:(:(

I love cruising in the back woods, but the snow and ice are always a blast. Can't wait for the snow to start flying here.

we have the perfect conditions here, right now. cool for a texas summer (low 90s) and since we had a little rain this week, but are dry now, we'll have just enough fun mud, but no get-stuck mud, at BMRA on saturday. and it's topless all day long. woohoo.

We have alot of "farms trails". Pretty much "use at own risk" roads. But some get pretty hairy...

It's not back woods, but you go through a small forest everytime. It's mostly dips, and deep mud/water sometimes up to the hood on good days...

The best part (and the worste part I geuss) is that there are streets at the beging and ending of every trail. So there is no, "broke down, and no one can save me."

But at the same time there is no, "Going out to the trail(s), be back monday" kinda deal either... Unless you travel 2+ hours.

These farmer roads are about 5 minutes away, and are all over the place. I know of five that almost connect the whole way, expect for one that is a 2 minute drive to get to to loop around back home...

If there isn't big rocks involved I'm not really interested. I love rockcrawling. I like some of the other stuff like sand & snow. I hate mud though. Way to much work to clean up. I do like just cruising fireroads too, but rocks is where it is at for me and most of my buddies.

The moto here is "if your friends don't rockcrawl get new friends". :D

Rocks, then snow. Where was the nekkid option

The more mud the better, the rocks are too slow for my taste, I just wanna get it half burried and punch it out with the nobbies spitting mud pies all over the place.
