Just got home from blazer fest...and it ROCKED

well i just got home and dropped off 1FNhiK5...he cracked his tranny so i hauled him home..greg72 rolled his k5 onto his side...and i turned my front drive shaft into a pretzel on the mini rubicon...i made it threw the first time on friday but my 2nd try at it on saturday during to poker run i got hung up and trashed it..also bend my front tie rod and dented the diff covers really good..overall this was the most fun i have ever had at a blazer event...i think to total number of trucks that showed up was in the 30 area..well i am off to install my can back that showed up the day after i left for blazer fest /forums/images/icons/mad.gif /forums/images/icons/mad.gif /forums/images/icons/mad.gif
 
Good to see you and Brad both made it home safe. How many beadlock bolts did you break towing Brad home? Ya'll should have seen Brad's K5 on 44"s on a trailer behind Chaz's K5. /forums/images/icons/shocked.gif /forums/images/icons/smirk.gif /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

i dident break one bolt...but when we got back into stockton i pulled into our shop to use the scale and i was 2000lbs over loaded on my rear axle on my truck..my tires were rated for 1320lbs each and i had a total of 5300lbs on that axle...with 40psi in the tires and they still looked like they were falt...but i cruzed at 70 all the way home with out a prob.. /forums/images/icons/grin.gif /forums/images/icons/grin.gif
 
did anyone take any pictures of brads truck behind mine?..with his on the trailer..it maid mine look like it was a lowered truck /forums/images/icons/grin.gif /forums/images/icons/grin.gif
 
Chaz I got a pic just before you pulled out. It will be a huge file as I had the camera set for fine detail.

Hell, you where getting some looks as you were driving out. Just think what those people would think if they knew about all the breakage you suffered.

well last years blazer fest i towed that blue bronco home too...my tranny was goin out...i hit the top speed of 25mph all the way till I 5 /forums/images/icons/crazy.gif /forums/images/icons/crazy.gif i just did then manual swap in november right after blazer safari /forums/images/icons/grin.gif /forums/images/icons/grin.gif i will never have another auto again...manual is the way to go! /forums/images/icons/smile.gif /forums/images/icons/smile.gif
