Just got the go-ahead- 2012 Rigs of CK5 calendar

Well, brothers, a few people have been inquring about the Rigs calendar, so I got off my sorry ass and got permission from Steve to go ahead with the 2012 edition!!!! :woot:

Sadly, I'm leaving for a WELL DESERVED week of vacation tomorrow morning at 6:30 AM sharp, so I won't spend a lot of time of discussing the project. However, for those of you who are interested in submitting a few pics, now is the time to start checking your cameras and hard drives for calendar-worthy pictures.

As always, a portion of the proceeds go directly to Steve to help fund the day to day operations of CK5, and this year Kim and I would like to donate $1 from each calendar sold to a cancer-related charity(suggestions???) in honor of our dearly departed Shewheeler(Cheryle Weatherly).

I'll be back in a week. If anybody has any questions, hopefully some of you longtimers can answer them on my behalf. :thumb:
 
Will the cutoff for pics be after BlazerBash so I can get some action picks of my soon to be finished K5? :whistle:
 
Paul, what are the pic requirements?
I'm a pic tard, so splain it to me easy would ya.

hey i havent had time to read the thread but can you tell me where to sumbit my picthers too? :thumb:


most of mine are in 800x800 pixles, a requirement of what youd like would be nice. I assume bigger is better. the 800x800s are photoshopped for color correction by my sister, but i can get the larger straight from camera photo if need be.

This year Paul will only be accepting out-of-focus Polaroid photos that have been jammed and wrinkled between the seat cushions of your truck! (originals only please, no photocopies!)

Seriously, 800x800 is probably not going to be high enough resolution to look good when enlarged to calendar size. These days it's easy to find 3, 5 or 7 (or 10!) mega-pixel cameras everywhere....even on your phone. I'm sure Paul would prefer to get the highest resolution possible so he has something with good detail to work with.

raw photos are 2592x1944, before being color corrected. Taken on a digital SLR even!
