The addiction continues, took my wife to town and look what i found. 83 with 305, runs great. I will run her till she dies and then do a swap. The guy wanted $3,000 a year ago, when i saw it it was $2,500 or obo........drove it away for $1,800:D. This rig is clean, great metal, every switch and all lighting work great. I dont plan on disturbing this rig much. I will swap out hubs to manual,and let it breath a little better going in for manifold back dual exhaust this week.
I will use it to tow the boat and a trip or two out to the dunes. Now i can make a beast out of my 84 Jimmy. Hope you like......Roger

Looks nice. But, is it just me, or do these sentences just sound wrong somehow??

No the wife. Then you can go out and get one that someone already upgraded with all of the bolt-ons. :haha:
 
Yes it used to be white, who ever had it painted they took the time to do the jambs and sills, but not the dash......go figure.

If I am thinking of the same Blazer, it used to be in Ephrata, am I correct?
 
I don't know if he lived in Ephrata or not Riley, just by the looks of his house and property it looks like he has been in Moses for awhile. He said he bought from some dude in Wenatchee 5 years ago. But you never know he could have been trying to sell it in Ephrata.

Going to do a little detail work on it. The front rims need to be cleaned up and re-painted, shine the beauty rings up and i should be good to go. I will leave the Ralleys on I think it looks good that way. Can't wait to get her back from the muffler shop for the dual exhaust the dude at Midas is gonna hook me up with 2 1/2 inch with dual Flowmasters from manifold back.
That should help her breath a little better, just getting that gaint c-converter off there is going help some. The truck does have Cali. smog on it but not for long. No need for it in my neck of the woods.

Oh yeah, i need to hunt down a drivers side fender badge also. So if anybody out there could hook me up (LMC is WAYYYYYY to proud of those badges) shoot me a message .

IIRC TJ's towing (boneyard on west side of highway) here in Ephrata had a early 80's Suburban that had the fender emblem. But then, it wouldn't say K5, so that's no good. I'll give them a yodel tomorrow.

Oh, and if you see a blue and white 81 K5 smoking its way around Moses Lake, it used to be mine.:doah:
 
Nice find! Very clean rig!!

Did they let you have the sub as a freebie? It must be nice to hear clean bass on all your Snoop and Dr. Dre albums right off the bat like that. :haha:
 
Thanks and yes the sub came with it....lol, he had the receipt from stereo shop in the glove box 700 bones from about 6 months ago. New Alpine head unit,amp & sub and 4 new speakers in the original holes. Sounds good but the sub will have to go that draws way to much attention from the Meth heads looking for a quick buck.

What kind of sub is it? I might want it. And the rest of the system as well.
