Now I need to get my pinion bearing fixed so I can drive the damn thing!

Still looking to do a SM465 swap...

Thanks for looking!!!
Andrew

Forgot to mention, one side bolted up pretty good, the other side was a tad off so I had to drill out the difference for new 1/2" hardware.

I also will be touching up the bumper.. and painting the brush guard tan to match the truck.... I think with the black front end, that will set it off very nicely!! :woot:

Yeah, the right turn light is not bolted back yet... Ill get that tomorrow. After I got it out and installed the guard, I forgot how the hell I got it out, and it wont squeeze back in! Damn!

This is the brush guard installed on a typical CUCV...

You can see the difference in the headlight styles did NOT pose ANY problems for the guard design. Aint that sweet?!?

Looks good Andrew, my favorite part isn't the brushguard so much as the through the bumper clevis's... :waytogo:

Yeah... I think the combination of the two is pretty bad ass! Im not sure how they are installed, Id like to see a CUCV up close once more for pictures of various mechanical things like that. It should be no problem to make a set, the tube are just square stock, likely just bolt to the frame horn.

They do bolt the frame, and I will be making my own, not necessarily the same, I can make a square tube reciever and get a good clevis.
As long as it's done right, I don;t need it to look like it's a CUCV.:thumb:

also the factory cucv frames have a extra plate rivited to the frame horn area were the mounts bolt for the shackles. so plan on making one for the extra load suport in that area.

Oh I will be making a little more than just that:whistle:
I do things overkill when it doesn't cost that much more.
