got a tech question here guys. this is my second used steering box and it always after awhile leaks from the front of the box. does that happen alot from not driving a truck much? or is it just my luck? and
one more question when i went to start my truck after i turned it off the starter would not disengage. so i had to turn it off and unplug battery, after solenoid cooled down it didnt do it, new starter or relocate solonoid? thanks ck5

either relocate the solenoid or wrap it in that heat stuff...

Did it just not work? OR was it trying to engage and didnt? sometimes when the solenoid is on its way iout it will get "stuck" if you tap on it with a hammer it sometimes works.

bendix may be crudded up and not releasing, that will happen if a truck sits for a while. Pull starter and clean nose cone area out and I would do the solenoid relocation
