I go out and actually work on the Blazer for more than an hour since September and it looked low on water. I start filling it up and i see it running out the bottom radiator hose round the middle. :doah:damn a busted hose.

then i go to pulling it off and squeeze right around the hose round the bottom of the waterpump and water starts coming out the "weep" hole on the water pump...

this means the water pumps bad doesn't it? :doah:I have the money to put in it i would just rather it been spent on something else.....

Yip bad pump. Replace all the hoses while your at it, radiator cap, hoses and heater hoses. might as well do it all at once. Also make sure you use some sealant on the bolts that go into the block. I learned that one the hard way. Dont rush it. I did and ended up redoing all my hard work.

Never had a problem with the pump leakin before but yeah good idea about the bolts sealed up.

Bad part is i just changed it last summer cause the bearing went out of the other water pump and the fan went all haywire. :doah:

Luckily i had an extra (this one) at home. I actually did it in a parking lot of a gun store so i kinda just threw it together. Never had a problem with it til now. Shoulda had a back up. :dunno:
