ok so ive searched around on a couple of build threads and axle setups but i cant find no answer. ok i have a 14BFF out of a van so i have to move my spring mounts. the question i have is does any body know or have an idea on how many degrees i should move my pinion angle up i plan on running about 6 inches of lift or so maybe a bit more. any advice will be appriciated

Too many variables to say brother. I moved mine up roughly 4 degrees. But i was and am using a CV, it also depends on wheelbase, d-shaft length and whether or not you are using a CV. On mine i clamped the axle semi-loosely into place and dropped the truck back down on the ground so it was at ride height, and used an old driveshaft to and pointed the pinion at the t-case, minus 2 degrees because of the amount the axle twists on and off the gas. I had bad vibes on my old axle when it was pointed straight at the t-case.Again lots of variables. My wheelbase is stretched 3in with 63's out back, so its likely not the same as yours
Good Luck

Best bet is to get an angle finder and make sure your u-joint angles are appropriate. Do you have a cv on the rear or a single joint? That will make a huge difference for what kind of angle is appropriate.

Here's some good reading and will give you all you need to know and then some about u-joints. If you want skip to the part where it discusses driveshaft angles that would be most pertinent to you.
