I joined the site in 2008, but have never posted. In fact, haven't logged on in the past 3+ years, but doing more work on our Suburban and looking for a better board with better information and more activity.

Currently located in Northern California, hopefully soon that will be Idaho.

Stable currently consists of our 1988 V20 Suburban, 2007 Silverado 2500HD, Subaru Forester and 65 Mustang.

The Suburban has been in the family for about 6 years. It has been very reliable and really we have not had to do much to it. I have added remote start, auxiliary oil and transmission coolers, a class 5 hitch and a few other small things. My wife is the primary driver of the truck. She prefers to drive it as it has a feeling of safety. She doesn't drive much, so the horrible mileage doesn't hurt us too bad.

On the to do list for the truck.
Steering gearbox is leaking so a new one is about to get installed.
Tires are cracking so those are up as well.
Headliner is starting to separate so I will have to address that soon.
Rear door handle button is broken. Parts on the way.
Billet Grill arrived today and will be installed when I finish the steering box.

That's it for now.

Where ya movin to in Idaho?

Not sure exactly yet. I wanted to get up to the panhandle, but I don't think that is going to happen. If I get the job I am looking at, I will be covering from Boise up to Fruitland. Wife will be working in Boise.

Initially, we will probably live closer into the Boise area, but we want to buy 10 acres or so a bit further from Boise/Nampa.

My wife has an aunt and uncle that live in Fruitland and own a restaurant just over the border in Ontario Ore. about a block away from the hospital. It's a nice area and we've thought about relocating to that area ourselves.
