Just spent the last week hooking up my rig **Pic Fest**

Took my truck up to Utah when I got home from Iraq in May and now finally got her home. Thanks to my Father in law and 2 Brothers for helping me work on my pile :wink1:

22 Gal fuel cell installed.......$13 mud flap from Cal Ranch for anti squeak and straps made from flat stock painted black.

Cut out rocker panels and welded in some 2x4 square tubing also Dura lined the interior, took 1 Gallon and 1 Qaurt $55 plus hours of sanding and grinding and sanding and chiseling and :haha:

Purchased a Detroit and an open diffed 14ff, removed open carrier from donor and commenced to install detroit along with Rock ring from poison spider. That thing is thick as hell trying to cut it to match my shaved 14ff :D

All excitement was gone when I returned home after flat towing my K5 180 miles.

Look here for help on trouble shooting my dumbass mistake.......
 
Well, last night I fixed the Detroit as it had a shim still in the carrier. It wasn't letting the clutch release and was making some racket.

Luckily there was no damage done to the unit :o
 
Thanks guys, it's funny how I am always ready for my vacation to be over so I can relax :haha:

I am going wheeling this weekend for the first time in 7 months! Pretty stoked :wink1:
