Hi there, I just swaped my 1975 350 for a 1972 350 that was rebuilt, and there are a few things that are different. (Much to my surprise) I don't know where the oil pressure gauge is on the new motor. There seems to be a port behind the dizzy near the firewall, not sure what that is for. Any help would be awesome.

I already discovered that the alternator is it mounted differently.

Thanks in advance.

Yep right behind the manifold on the valley. The manifold has an indent where the adapter goes.

Alrighty then, I'll cut away a bit of that (orange painted) silicon and get on it.

There could also be a port above the oil filter on the side of the block as well as the front top of the block towards the right, make sure they have plug installed if not used.
They should be removed when hot tanking the block and then reinstalled.

This is good info to have, thanks

The one above the oil filter is a common one, but it's a larger plug than the one near the dizzy, so you'd need an adaptor if you want to put a standard 1/8 NPT sender there.

Alright... getting close, really close... but now I have another question
I shot a hundred photos, but apparently not one that I need now. I have taken the clutch pedal assembly apart, and am having trouble with where exactly to put the springs. I have two , a long one (8" or so) and a short one (3" or so). I cant quite figure how they go back. I CAN drive without a clutch (something my dad taught me) but I really dont want to! Any help (like photos of YOUR Muncie!) would be awesome!! Thx

where I am on the top side... cheers
