Well kids, I just traded in my Blazer. I bought a pretty cool looking 96 Chevy Tahoe. I know, I know....IFS. The Tahoe has a 6" lift and 35's so at least it is worthy of my attention. Maybe Santa will bring me a solid axle swap for X-mas this year. I wiil know after April if it will wheel worth a $%@. See you in MOAB.................

Where did you trade it in at? I want it :P

I traded it to Tyrell Doyle Honda. I would NEVER buy anything from them again. They tried to stick me with a $800.00 bill to fix the door locks on the new Tahoe. BULL#$%. They finally fixed everything for free.......Duhhh

Curious, what did you get for it as trade-in value?

I can understand where you're coming from..
The Tahoe's are freakin nice.. My wife's 4dr Tahoe does very well off road.. sure you have to be careful of banging the IFS.. but it's all about how you drive it.
I'm trying to talk my wife into a solid axle coversion for her truck.. she is hinging towards.. he!! yeah...
Let's see some pics.. My wife oogles over Tahoes and Blazers..

I haven't failed, I've found 10,000 ways that don't work. www.rocko.rockcrawler.com

$800!?!?!?!?! that's more than I paid for my car!

I'll just take my little Subaru down to terryl doyle or whatever and have a look lol... not like I'll ever afford it, I'd say they're gonna try getting at least $6k out of it... that's $5400 more than I have to spare right now :(
