In other words, I'm really glad that I'm more skilled at automotive work than I am at christmas decorating :xmas:. Things weren't going well in the front (bushes), so I just decided to stick it in my favorite place instead. They do cause some really odd glare on the TV, though. I like to watch football while I wrench.

The lights came from my office. They were going to toss them out because one section wouldn't light up. I took them home and after a minute or so with a wire stripper, butt connector and a little electrical tape, they were good as new. People are so lazy.

Now, behold my masterpiece....:haha:

you, my friend, are a redneck.:haha::haha::D

But what is scary is some ppl prolly have their garages open more than they would remember to plug in ext. house lights, so i guess its not a bad idea:D

never been called that before, but maybe the shoe fits in this particular case. :o.

actually, they're pretty nice for looking under the hoods of my trucks. the light is coming from so many directions that it's really hard to fully cast a shadow where i'm trying to see. that was my plan all along. ha. that was just for my normal periodic fluid checks, though. might not be as great for actual work. in any case, my "custom" lighting only cost me a few minutes and about 10 staples.
