So I have had quite a bad vibration actually more of a wiggle since getting my gears done.

Sometimes I smack myself for not doing something sooner. Had my wife drive it down the highway. I followed in our car. Been meaning to do this for a while now.

Well guess my shift linkage for the t case is not adjusted properly. Driveshaft and all spinning. Hubs are unlocked so gotta be the t case. My front driveshaft slip yoke is worn out so it's not the best situation for the front shaft to be spinning.

Hopefully this will help it drive better. Although I did notice the rear is not running perfectly true but that will be addressed by the end of the month.

And my tires are not awesome but getting ever closer to my goal of a comfortable highway cruiser

I realize you are probably in snow, but if you have someplace you can slide under......Put it in park or gear, transfer case in 2hi, and try to turn the front driveshaft.
Bet it spins easily.

Its really not uncommon for the front driveshaft to spin in 2hi. Grease in the hubs, plus the moving oil in the transfer case will often give enough force to spin the front end
The speed varies. Most of the time, the rpm is slower than it would be under power, but not always.
I have seen the front knuckles just slowly rotating, and I have seen them spinning at tire speed.

I suspect the difference is due to thickness of the hub grease, vs the viscosity of the front end lube, since that is about all that puts a load on the shafts.
Good thick grease in the hubs with synthetic in the pumpkin, would give full rpms.

First thing I will check. But I have seen exactly what you describe all the time. This is not that. It turns at the road speed. There is zero lag.

I have found a patch o concrete to use later today I shall report back
