I think I found my intermittent poor running problem. The f-ing dizzy is broken.

Alright.

Since we last spoke, new dizzy, with new cap and rotor, new fuel filter. Couple of test drives. Played with swapping between a few different MAFs that I had lying around.

I think I have got her licked. Which is good, because she likes it like that. True test will be if my mileage goes back up to 20 ish, have been recently getting 16-17.
 
Couple days past now, but caught another check engine engine light. Had my guy at work pull the codes, and had the same heater circuit code before, but also lean on both banks...


Well after thinking that my MAF change was a waste of time, I finally opened the hood.

I immediately saw my problem. I had left a hose disconnected between the intake and valve cover.

Plugged it back in, and my truck hasn't run this good in a couple years.

I love these little trucks! I've had a 02 extended cab zq8 truck for around 7 years now, by far the best 700 truck ever. I hardly ever drive it and still cant bring myself to get rid of it.
