I have a roll cage question.

This car will be 99% street car.

But, I want a roll cage for my kid in the summer when top off.

Is the chassis mount really that strong? Is the frame tie underneath to the frame overkill???

For people protection, body mounting the cage is good as long as the connection point is good at spreading the load into the body sheetmetal and the seats would stay in the protection zone. Frame tie in points are more about controlling frame flex offroad than protecting passengers.
