Still have work to do but this is where I am at so far. 1st pic is in the beginning last pic is today. Will post more as I go.

Current mods cut though cab to bed, blacked out all chrome (except wheels), jumbo front bumper, hot 350, 37 inch toyos, one saddle tank raised up, front fenders cut out, back seat installed, canvas bikini top (homemade), roll bar, and custom ECV badging.

Future mods Bob the bed to accomodate blazer hard top, 14-bolt welded out back (have it), Dana 60 up front (need it), 203/205 doubler kit, 5.13 gears, cut out rear fenders to match the front, half doors (got em started), black out wheels, remove the side of massive front bumper to fix approach angle, full cage, rock sliders, raise other saddle tank, skid plates for saddle tanks, and shackle flip in the rear (got em).

Far future mods exo cage around cab then behind fenders with pinned on skins, pinned on rear fender skins, blazer tank, and narrowed front and rear.

Cool project... I can't tell from the pics... what did you do (if anything) to attach the body of the cab to the body of the bed?

If you bob the bed so that you can use a Blazer hard top, that'll be pretty cool looking...one of those things that make people realize there's something not quite right about the proportions of the truck even though it looks like a Blazer.

Didn't attach yet I am gonna after I build a full cage to make the frame more rigid. The whole dis proportionate thing is what I am going for. Little longer wheelbase and great departure angle.

that front bumper is going to kill any mileage that you previously had.

Do you still have any of those moulding clips that were on the rear cab panel? If so, could you please measure the overall length of one?

Hmmm cool build... I've thought about adding a bench to the bed of my k10 that I could swap in and out quickly since I always seem to be running out of seats but I've never pulled the trigger and started hacking away... props to ya'!

Finally swapped in a welded 14 bolt and home brew shackle flip in the rear took it out this weekend and wheeled the **** out of her. Was in the middle of the creek with a busted hub when the park ranger showed up whoops ! But didnt end up getting cited cause I put on a hell of a show for the guy after I repaired the hub. Also scored some belting off rock conveyor to run between the cab and bed. So she can still flex the frame until I build a cage.

Cool build, looks good.
what size are your Toyos? how do you like them? in snow?

Toyos are 37x14.50x15. I like them real well actually run them in the snow quite a bit and they perform pretty good. Haven't got em on the rocks so we will see. The best part is I can get out on the highway and run 70 MPH and they dont grab every road groove and suck the small amount of MPG's that i currently get. I had some 39.5x18x15 IIRC Boggers before these and hated them on the road.
