My buddy's father with an 87 K10 had a locking hub (warn premium manual) chew itself up and in turn sent debris through the front hub. He tried removing the hub and rotor to replace the bearings but ran into trouble as debris lodged itself between the spindle thread and spindle nut. He was able to get the nut off, but the spindle is a little chewed. I have spare spindle nuts for him, but he would like to clean the spindle threads before installing them. Anyone know what size thread the spindle has on it?
