Just installed a new steering box into by K10 along with all ne TRE's. The truck will turn to full lock when I turn the wheel to the left. When I turn the wheel to the right it stops before I get to lock.

Is the steering box stopping the sytem from cycling all the way through. I am thinking when I installed the box the shaft was turn little and therefore not centered in the cycle of the steeringbox. I am thinking if the stops were not there I could probably turn more to the left.

Any thought?
Also how many threads should be engaed on the TRE's located on the steering arm and pitman arm?

Sounds like you did not center the box before attaching your draglink and or your wheels weren't pointed straight ahead.

I'm new to the forum, but not these trucks. For what it's worth, I agree with 4x4 high. Also, when I first installed the lift on my k10 i didn't use any thing to correct the steering geometry. After installing a drop pitman arm on mine it returned my full range of steering motion and took a lot of play out the steering as well.
