k20 cab swap ?

I am going to be swapping cabs on my k20 the cab I am going to be installing is a 2wd cab. I know about needing to cut the hole for the shifter and also about the difference in trans tunnels. My question is I have read some guys using body lifts to install a 2wd cab. I have also read that some guys didn't need one. Does anyone have anymore info on this for me ? I do plan to run a 1" body lift

I have a 2wd Cab on k30 with th400 203 205 doubler no body lift .

Depending on what your trans/Tcase combo is , you might need only the 1” body lift

Patty’s K20 had a 80’s C10 cab , I used a 2” body lift and it cleared the TH400/NP205 , with a 203/205 I would have needed to cut the floor a little

its a 350 to a sm465 and a np208

2wd manual little newer than whats on there as it has hydro pedals for the clutch and was also a diesel.

you might already be good with diesel and stick . might have the high/tall hump already .

So 2wd sm465 truck has the same hump as a 4x4 , no body loft needed!
