i have a d60 and 14blt ff out of a 1ton truck that has a manual 465 with np208 transfer case. i want to put them (the axles)under my 84 K5 with a 6" rough country lift. Ive heard that the Yokes on the 1ton axles are bigger than my stock 10 and 12 bolt 1/2ton shaft yokes. Can I remove the Yokes on the truck and slip them onto my K5 208? If not then what do i need to do to make theese axles work under my K5.do i need to change the perch angles? if yes how far?
Tanks in advance...

you need the conversion joint for the rear axle, otherwise other than axle perch width and the conversion joint its a drop in type deal. the 1310 to 1350 conversion joint part # (neapco) 3-3140 or (NAPA) NPJ P348. neapco u joints are available at advance, kragen, schucks, murray's, and checker auto parts. you could even order it directly off of parts america.com. if you go that route make sure you say your truck is a 1 ton. i used a conversion joint on my rear driveshaft of my 77 k10 when i swapped my 1 ton axles in

I'd use the conversion U joint temporaraly, since its cheap and easy. But eventually I'd get the yoke for the 208 and have the drive shaft from the 1 ton shortened if possible, or a new one made up to use the 1350 size ujoints they are much stronger than the 1310 size you would have right now. Also you may have more vibration with the conversion joint than with a matched set of ujoints.

my next question would be this then , I have the yokes from the K30np2o8. Would they be compatible with my K5 208. I would think that it would stand to reason they should bolt/slip right on (yes,no,maybe)I'm so confused. I just don't wanna get In the middle of this swap and loose my daily driver for 1-2 Weeks waiting for parts.

the thing you would have to check would be the splines. i believe the splines are the same but im not sure. either 27 or 32 i believe.
