WI K30 axles and frame

http://appleton.craigslist.org/pts/5187364011.html

No affiliation with the post, looked like some good parts

Didn't know we had a member in Lacrosse. :thumb:

Thanks for sharing. Looks like a good find. Decent price. For those outside the area, finding something like this isn't terribly common. But when I do, the prices are usually cheap. Steal price for this would be $500, IMO. Highpsi in Wausau (Wisconsin) is getting ready to part out a driveable K30 that he bought with plow for $800. Folks just don't seem to value D60 axles here like they do elsewhere. :dunno:

Appleton is a bit of a drive from Lacrosse. Lemme know if you're in the area or need help picking something up from NE WI or Upper Michigan. Would be fun to meet up sometime. :)
That sounds like a good time! I hope to get mine finished within the next two years, (more hoping to be able to drive it by next summer). Ill keep you in mind if I see any parts up that way, if you need anything down here let me know. :thumb:

Read through your build thread; it looks like you're having fun with your rig.

Given that you need different axles/gears, are you considering this rolling chassis as an axle donor? Or are you looking for just axles/gears? Or are you not worrying about that part yet?

you can beat them down on this setup price wise .

its a early 60 so its neck down axle shafts . .

some guys might want the pto off the 205 . . . I know if the price was right and the make/model was a good one I would possibly buy it .
