K30 questions

Thinking about re-gearing my v3500 (k30). It has the stock 4:10 gears and the 6.2 diesel. 60 front and 14 bolt rear. 4l80 trans and 205 transfer case. All i will ever go speed wise is 75 mph and I am seeking as much torque as possible for towing and or running 37 inch tires. Would it be unrealistic to run a 5:38 ratio?
Just getting some opinions.
