Well, we can all see where a good reputation can take you. Wes is almost untouchable due to his reputation, and although fair is fair, this is the same guy that drove to an airport twice to mail out an axle and sends them in great shape. I wouldn't waste anymore time with bad mouthin him, or others bad mouthin' you. Experience is something we get right after we needed it, and it sounds as if you just got some without anyone getting phsically hurt or dead. Hey, just my 2cents worth.

Yeah, I have always done my stuff to the point of customer satisfaction first!!! It just makes me feel good to see, hear, and know that someone is happy with whatever they buy from me. I have always stood behind my stuff, too.

As for the 'situation' at the moment, I will not be making any replies until the matter is settled between Kyle and me. I see no point in bad mouthing him on this site, nor anywhere else. One thing I have learned from this lesson, you find out who your real friends are and aren't!!!!!!!

Well hello. wondering where you were hiding.
Finally was able to get the D60 from the airport to Chico
(I recently purchased the axle from Wes, and it was delivered as advertised). Was going to PM you but I will say thank you here - THANK YOU.
Other than more nightmare stories from Air Freight it was a smooth transaction.

Differences between K30 and Kyle are just that, between them in my opinion. But I think K30 is doing the right thing by leaving it private. That is enough to earn my respect.

I wasnt going to get involved, and I'm not going to say anything about the situation between Kyle and Wes. But what I am going to say is I have never met Wes, never talked on the phone, nothing but a "couple" of pm's. He doesnt know me from a hole in the ground. But you know what, I dont think I have ever dealt with anyone who is more willing to help out others than this guy. I mean I have asked question upon question, changing things from this to that, and he has ALWAYS been more that willing to give me the answers and advice I have been looking for. Even at times I thought I'm not going to ask again, cause I dont want to bug or take up anymore of his time than I already have, I end up asking and I get a responses that are better than I could ever get out of any shop. Ever since the beginning of me finding thid board, and seeing some of Wes' posts, he has always said he is not in it for the money, only the personal satisfaction he gets out of helping out others. I truely believe those are his intentions and always have been. And for that he has my respect. Pefect example was wayne (I think). Wes was supposed to build him some axles and to save wayne some money found him some that were close to him. That is a FRIEND, and Wes has been a good one to anyone who has needed it.
 
Just for the record Wes... I still think you are a class act and a classy guy. Even if something on the axle was messed up (which no one will really ever know) anyone can make a mistake... even Motzart botched a few notes every once and a while. I also praise the fact that you have kept calm when it could of been very easy to blow up and vent your frustrations.

I definetly respect the decision to keep quiet. It is bull$#@! that this has come to this and I think it is kinda immature to have it blown up on the board. I still have to say that I feel for kyle as a consumer, but being a tech and have done side work I feel for Wes because I have been there. Unfortunetly this kinda proves nice guy usually end up last one way or another.

<font color=purple> Sorry, I didn't realize the depth of this story until after I posted a few funny ones........... I've never dealt with Wes in a business sense but just from being in the chatroom and posting with him in the forums I can tell he's an honest guy....... sometimes it just shows through that person demeanor and such ............ I'd go to bat for the guy !

You're still good in my book Wes! I agree Mikey - This is exactly why the minute I clock out, I only work for myself - I'm not about to pay for malpractice insurance to cover trying to be nice on my off days - too many people out there who want to blame and/or sue someone.

Blazn86 hasn't had the chance to proove himself. Don't burn the guy. I do think this should have been a private matter, and not brought up on the boards. (Blazn86, Hind-sight is 20/20)

I've had the chance to get to know K30 by the boards, and I belive he is a ligit guy. I honestly don't think he intensionatly went out to give anyone less than they expected.

Please, Steve or Grimm. Delete both of these posts. It is not what CK5 is. (too me anyway)

I don't know Wes personally just the board the chatroom and a few P/M. He has always been real cool, and responded quickly to any questions I've had. He seems like a great dude.

And Wes, you have showed great restraint so far, noone can flame em up like you can.
