Hey all! Just got back from one of my best weekends of wheeling to date. Here's what the truck looks like before the trip (note the straight body):

Well, I'm sure you can get the idea... but the only remaining straight panels are the hood and the tail gate! /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif

List of crap I broke:

1. drivers mirror
2. 1350 u-joint (rear driveshaft)
3. bent my 1330 CV driveshaft (rear)
4. BROKEN main leaf in the drivers rear (replaced @ Attica on Saturday)
5. COUNTLESS body panels! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Had a DAMN good time! Can't wait to hit the trails again soon! Sorry for the long post, but I just HAD to share some pics!

I had often wondered how people break their main leaf on their springs. Now I know.

Broken main leaf = (gravity) + (vertical rock hill) + (6000lbs) + (the SKINY pedal)

Yea... looks like I still need to work the bugs out of the "LAUNCH" button. My wife swears she saw the truck stand on the rear bumper... I swear my seat cushion will never be the same. Wierd thing was, the leaf broke just as the truck made its final big LURCH off the side of that "wall", and as the truck went vertical EVERYONE in the K5 went silent. I think we all saw the light there for a second... and then the fat bastard sat back down on all 4 tires! /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

Yes, you sure can. The top of the fender is gonna need a few whacks from the BFH to get that topper back on flat! I'll tell you what though, I sure do like the truck this way vs. all straight and whatnot. It looks like a real truck now. /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

I hated to lose the straight body on mine also....but the trails sure are a lot more fun now since I don't have too much about body damage /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

BTW, I sent you a pm about your trailer setup.

****in finally. I was wondering when you were planning on really wheeling that thing. It was sad when my DD truck on 35's looks more trail beat than yours...and dont say "drivers skill" ya baffoon, your body armor would have saved most of my rockrash if it twas on my truck.!!!

Um... well... yea. Thats what did in the driver's rear main leaf! At least I didn't pop a shaft! Just keep the front axle off the ground! /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif
