what makes one or the other i get the intial k series and how the number goes up, but whats the diff between the k5 and k10 blazers.

K5 is the designation for the utility body, K-10 is half ton 4x4.

so the k10 is just a half ton blazer?
All Blazers were 1/2 ton, and always designated as K-5. The K-10's were either short or long bed 4x4 pick-ups.
