Hi All,
My Rig is a mess... Seems to be a mish mash of god knows how many years and I am getting pretty frustrated with buying parts that don't fit.
The latest is my front Axle. My Hub Broke yesterday and I decided to go with the Warn Premium upgrade, I figured since I had my hubs off I might as well replace the wheel bearings.
I went to the local auto parts store and asked for inner and outers wheel bearings for a 1975 Full Size Blazer and you guessed it, I ended up with the wrong size.
OK Here's my question: How can I identify my front Axle? I bought new calipers recently and the 1975 year was an exact match so I figured that the Axle would be as well, guess not...
How can I tell what it is and what year it might be, Also perhaps what the gear ratio is?
I am a bit of a 4X newb so if these are obvious questions forgive me I am just trying to get my rig back on the road.
Thanks
