That’s because Gibb went through the Central Office Production Order process instead of the Regular Production Order process - his team really knew their way around GM’s red tape and was also backed up by a network of other dealerships to give him purchasing power.
Although the whole ZL-1 program kinda bit him in the ass once GM’s brass passed along all the R & D costs w/o prior notice.

So that right! But the deals hip still had options that where not on the spec. sheet! So if I was the only one with K10 on my title! I would say you where right! But I found out this guy had one too! Where it said it was a K10! He also about the fender!

I’m somewhat confused by this response and why are you putting an exclamation point after most every statement - are you irritated, excited, proud, angry ?

So are you saying that your “K-10” Blazer is a special version just because a clerk typed the title up with K-10 instead of K-5 ?
As others have stated in this thread that GM’s documentation states that all K-5’s are considered K-10 platforms - so what are you telling us about yours ?

Please share in detail on what “non-spec” options that your Blazer has - and please be specific in your description as those of us with only K-5 on our titles might not understand.

Side note: this reply was written with no bold and elevated exclamation points that are indicating the intent of raising the effect of my response - you should try it…

My title says "station wagon", but that doesn't change the fact it's a K-5 and I'm not ordering the emblem.

I think the OP missed this reply. You can’t lose site of the fact that the state constantly updates / changes info on the title to their individual classifications. One state may sale K10 while another says station wagon. I think my title says SUV.

My K-5 only had SUV on the paperwork as well - no mention of it being a K-10. I guess that means it wasn’t special…
