I could verify tonight, if needed. I have the belts out of my 91 I can look at.

One some retractable seat belts there is a plastic switch that goes thru the door jam. Is this not on the 90's K5 blazers? The NOS seat belt below is missing this it appears but perhaps it has been redesigned from earlier versions.

Is there still a hole in the door jamb that isn't plugged? If so, I'd imagine it's supposed to be there. But it would be pretty unlikely GM screwed up their belts.

I'm glad I have that switch, my belts are starting to fail in regards to retracting properly, EXCEPT when you open the door. Then they retract as they should.

Hey, I'm really sorry I forgot about this. Fwiw, here's a pic of the seat belts from my 91. The only switch I can see is a pigtail on the drivers female buckle.

I know this thread is a little past but does anyone have a source for the plastic pieces that keep the clasp upright? Judging by what I've seen on LMS they don't quite have them so I am not sure who else might be able to provide them. Also interested in any alternative solutions someone can offer. I was thinking of checking out the Chevy vans of the same era perhaps?
