I want to get some ideas for a GPS holder. I already have the typical suction cup style holder on my GPS unit that sticks to the windshield, but I'm wanting a cleaner look (and I don't like the cord hanging down the side of my dash). So, I think I want to mount it to the lower part of the dash (metal part). I'm not interested in cutting a big whole to counter-sink it, but I would be open to mounting a small adjustable mount to the cigarette lighter area or something like that. I'd really like to hear some suggestions from you guys on what you have done or seen on other rigs. I want to think long and hard on the location and design before I drill or cut any part of the truck to mount the unit. Suggestions??
