Wanted K5 Blazer Luggage Rack / Roof Rack

I've lifted the hardtop from those mounts and have walked on the roof rack many times with no problems. I would only trust something like well-nuts for light duty stuff.
It should be easy to build a rack like that, as a single hoop of EMT and 4 pieces of angle. There are also a lot of racks from places like Thule or Yakima, that may not be "for" a K5, but dimensionally could be made to work.

I like your attachment method for the anchor points I may consider adding some, but I honestly never really remove the top. The only reason I want the roof rack is to carry my Gazelle tent which is pretty big in length when collapsed, I normally carry it on my Jeeps roof rack. This season I will be using the K5 for all of my camping trips but I don't want it too look nothing like an overland rig. I just finished putting my k5 on the road and I went with a factory look through my build and want something that is period correct for the roof rack.
