Hwy whats up my name is ben .I have a 87 k5 blazer.thats just been giving me a lil problems . Every now and then it just stalls out of no were and idles real high . Other then that it's a great truck . So far I put a new ignition module .gas filter. New distributor coil . Changed my oil and filter . Like I said it runs good . But before I start to put any more money into it I would like to know a good place to start . I was thinking change out my hole distributor . I've seen other issues like this on here . Just would like some opinions. On were to go next . Thank you in advance

For the high idle, spray some carb cleaner around the intake gasket. If you hear the RPM increase then the gasket is leaking and needs to be replaced. Common problem.

The high idle sounds like a vacuum leak. It's likely around your intake manifold/carb area. I've seen a lot of vacuum leaks on old and dry rotted hoses to and from the carb. Maybe you'll luck out and find an unplugged hose. I'd start looking there for sure.

Thanks u guys I'm going to try that today after work . I'll let u guys know how it goes
