K5 bumpers

I tried swapping my bumpers from my 85 4x to my 82 2wd and the brackets were not the same .. it looks to me like i'm missing a couple brackets on the 2wd (bumper was not real secure to start with).. are bumpers and brackets different or am i just missing some brackets by the way i only tried the front so far....

81 and up should be the same, you might be missing a bracket on the front that bolts to the side of the frame and bolts on the bumper.

Yes it did look like it was missing the brackets that went from frame to center of front bumper on the 2wd. There were quite a few open holes, I will look again when I get in tonight.

81 and up should be the same, you might be missing a bracket on the front that bolts to the side of the frame and bolts on the bumper.
