I'm in the process of rehabbing most of the interior on my 84' jimmy. My new carpet arrived from stock interiors.com and I have just realized that I don't have the trim piece that holds the carpet against the rise in the floor where the rear bed begins (behind the front seats/in front of the rear seat). I don't know what this piece is actually called though and some google searches haven't turned anything up. The piece I need runs across the width of the truck right at the floor and has the bend in it to fit over the tranny tunel. My old interior was an after market padded vinyl that the PO had secured with a trim piece at the top of the floor rise where the bed begins. Now that I'm back to factory carpet. I need that piece to properly finish off the carpet. Does anyone know of a place that offers them?. Maybe I need to look again but havent seen them on them on LMC etc..

You may be stuck with finding one used. And shipping one isn't going to be cheap, if you can't find one locally.

I am assuming that yours should have been a formed plastic piece like my '90 has. I would imagine that a part could be made to cover the seam, but the only way to make it look factory in my mind would be 3D printing it. Splitting it up into three sections should make it easier to make in any form.

^^. Thanks guys. yeah, I figured I was probably out of luck as far as finding a new one goes. 3D printing is an interesting idea. I'll have to look into that if I can't come across a used one somewhere.
