K5 corvette!??!!??!!

the vette was a roll over victim. It appears to be smashed on the drivers side.
put the two together and hey, it's all good
I'm not a fan of the driver's visibility but o well. I like the black rims, but wish it was about 2" higher, then it would be nice. Little too low for even me, a fan of nicely lowered trucks.

It's pretty cool. There's plenty of stuff like that out there. Low ridin' 2wd Blazers are a big thing to the street crowd. At least it's a true military vehicle that it's based on and not some wannabee paint job. We see the M1008 get torn down to sacrifice axles for Blazers and Jeeps. Is that any different?

Handles like a.....corvette? No, not even on a good day. Just wasted a vette is what they did. That's okay for them but wasting a vette is a crime isn't it? Its a law. I read it on the internet.

You've ridden in it? Ya I didn't think so, me neither. But I'm willing to lay money down that it handles MORE like a Vette than a K5, and will smoke any truck based streetrod. :deal:

the butchered Corvette interior looks awkward, hard to see out of and uncomfortable:thumb:
looks "ok", just not what I'd do and I whole-heartedly agree with the above quote.

I have seen some nice mixed vehicles before, taking the best of 2 wildly different beasts and turning them into something new, but this seems more like taking the skin off of a corvette, hanging a k5 on it, and using aluminum patch panels to cover the gaps.

meh, better than I could do if I attempted it though.

I don't understand why someone would slam it to the ground like that. If it was sitting up high or even stock it would look nice.

Stock Vette or Blazer? My guess is it's about stock Vette height. Look at it like a Vette with a Blazer body, cuz that's what it is,not a 4wd (anymore)

I Appreciate the work, I'm sure someone out there loves this sort of thing. The two rocker panels are funny to me though.

Reminds me of when I would swap bodies on my hotwheels growing up. Looks okay from the outside, but once you open the doors is when the wierdness shows:eek1:. I still thinks it's pretty neat, if you guys can't appreciate it, you probably don't like ratrod's either?:dunno:

i liked it until i saw the inside. barff....

x3 on poor visibility and you would be sitting way too far back. looking left would get you a face full of b-pillar.

a stock k5 interior would have been about right
